Payroll Projects Advisor

Role Overview
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for one of our Payroll Center of Excellence (COE) positions - Payroll Advisor/Project Managers.

Role Responsibilitie

• Manages projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project.
• Allocates work among team members and provides guidance on a regular basis.
• Conducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews.
• Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications.
• Defines supporting and/or driving process improvements.
• Serves as liaison to team members and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies.
• Audits team member pay records, and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc.
• Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.
• Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements, and stays current with changes in the law.
• Documents payroll processes and procedures, ensures all processes and procedures meet government requirements.
• May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, related documentation, and SOX testing as well as with outsource vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Requirements
• Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant related experience
• Active command of business English
• Excellent coordination and communication skills (conducting and documenting financial analysis projects and communicating results).
• Demonstrated ability to lead small- to mid- sized project teams.
• Experience with leading projects related to HR/Payroll systems implementation/Payroll integration

Preferences
• Ability to communicate clearly and present at leadership level.
• Able to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to identify risks and limed risk management.
• Ability to manage conflicts.
• PMI certification would be advantageous
