Java Developer - Enterprise Web Applications
Dell is seeking a talented professional to join its Application Development team in Bratislava. The team focuses on design, implementation and delivery of complex software solutions for external Dell clients across various industries, mostly (but not limited to) manufacturing, telecom, automotive. Projects handled are usually focused on enterprise applications, mobile applications and system integration, however, may be expanded depending on client needs.
Role Responsibilities
• Analysis of customer requirements and advising clients
• implementation of customized solutions
• Design of software architectures
• Development and maintenance of front-end and back-end-side Java components in the Java EE environment
• Design, implementation and execution of tests (e.g. JUnit tests)
• Quality assurance and documentation

• Secure communication in English, German would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of object-relation mapping and object-oriented programming in Java / Java EE environment
• Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, RESTful Web Services
• Strong analytical thinking, team-player, curious and able to learn new technologies quickly
Preferences
• Knowledge of Java EE environment such as EJB 3.0, Hibernate, Servlets, Java Server Faces, Swing
• Experience with popular development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Jira, Subversion, Maven, Hudson for continuous integration, etc.)
• Knowledge in one of the following platforms Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Eclipse, Subversion or Maven.
