.Java/JEE Developer

Role Overview
Dell Inc. is a global provider of IT solutions for a wide range of customers. We are currently looking for multiple Java JEE developer / EAI / SOA / / Mobile for our teams in Bratislava and Munich.
As a software developer JEE / EAI / SOA / / Mobile one should work independently or together as a team on design and implementation of complex software projects for clients. The team develops solutions to completion and acceptance. Analytical thinking and a professional approach are essential for this activity.

Role Responsibilities
  • Analysis of customer requirements and advising clients
  • implementation of customized solutions
  • Design of software architectures
  • Development and maintenance of front-end and back-end-side Java components in the J2EE environment
  • Design, implementation and execution of tests (e.g. JUnit tests)
  • Quality assurance and documentation

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Requirements
  • Business or computer science degree or equivalent education with 2+ years of experience
  • Secure communication in English, German (for Bratislava – German would be advantageous)
  • Sound knowledge in Java/J2EE and object-oriented programming environment
  • Good knowledge of JEE, EJB 3.0, Hibernate, JCO, databases, web technologies, Servlets, Java Server Faces, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, RESTful Web Services, RCP, Swing
  • Experience with popular development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Jira, Subversion, Maven, Hudson for continuous integration, etc.)

Preferences
  • Good knowledge in one of the following platforms Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and Eclipse, Subversion and Maven.
  • Experience with Design Patterns
  • Ability to work independently and in a team and excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the requirements analysis
  • Enjoy working in small teams to agile methods, e.g. Scrum
