Required:
* Proficiency in C/C++ and object oriented design
* Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
* Hands on concurrency and multi-threading
* Expertise in programming under GNU/Linux
* Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
* Proficiency in revision control systems, preferably Subversion and Git
Nice to have:
* Scripting experience, e.g. Perl, Python, Bash shell
* Experience with streaming protocols: RTMP, HLS, MPEG-DASH, WebRTC
* Working knowledge of container formats: mpegts, webm, flv
* Working knowledge of encoding standards: h264, aac
* Good knowledge of Libav, Boost, FFmpeg, GNU/Linux Distros preferably Ubuntu Server)
* Tool frontend / GUI development
* Hands on unit tests and automated software testing
