Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Your role

As a member of our internationally operating SAP Basis and technology service line you will work closely with our customers all over Europe and North America in the acquisition and realization of projects.

Typical tasks will be:
  • Supporting Customers in upgrading system
  • Planning, supporting and realising basis operation and performance optimization projects
  • Study the newest technologies
  • Actively Supporting and innovating our existing tools and services

Your skills

  • 4+ years extensive experience in SAP Performance Management is a must
  • Technical expertise on SAP products, including SAP applications (ERP, CRM, SCM, BPC and Solution Manager)
  • Extensive DBA experience on more than two databases (Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MaxDB, DB2, HANA, Sybase) also clustering, high-availability solutions, and large implementations
  • Experience with performance tuning SAP Applications and databases
  • Experience with SQL statement analysis
  • Operating system experience on more than two platforms (AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Windows) and experience OS/ NW resources, sizing, analysis
  • Knowledge of WAN/LAN basics and storage subsystems (SAN, NAS, local storage, etc.)
  • Experience with virtualization and enterprise backup solutions
  • Passion for learning about new products and technologies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to interact well with all levels of personnel
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking, German is a plus but not required
