Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Process Engineer, who will bring in their expertise to monitor the existing manufacturing/production process and can optimize the existing process.

Can you monitor the existing manufacturing/production process and can optimize the existing process? Then you might be our new Process Engineer.

Using your experience, you will design and carry out cost-effective procedures and process. You will be part of a high functioning team that has a lot of potential with new products within cooling business. You will be reporting to the Production Manager and will work on improvements of the production process from technology and quality point of view.

Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) develop the technologies of today and tomorrow in Food Retail, Air Conditioning, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration.

You will maximize production efficiency and minimize cost!
Working as a Process Engineer at Danfoss Cooling, you will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. You will be the key member for working on the new projects and change of existing production process for Thermostats production. Bringing in your experience and knowledge, you will oversee operations and maintenance, with an eye to improving function and efficiency.

You will be responsible for

• Investigating and analyzing production methods, processes, and operations to determine manufacturing modifications that will increase production, reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Independently handle small projects
• Improving process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality
• Ensuring projects are completed on time
• Providing suggestions during incident investigations

Your education and experience

• Master/Bachelor (university) in Mechanical or manufacturing or electromechanical engineering
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing/industrial-related experience
• Knowledge on engineering methods such as FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, Poka Yoke, 8D methodology
• Inventor software skills is plus
• Communicating effectively with all levels of the organization (from the shop floor to management)
• Demonstrating flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments
• Team player, able to learn fast and willing to be flexible and change quickly
