Engineering Team Leader

Job Description Danfoss is looking for a professional with engineering experiences who will supervise and coordinate the engineering activities involving the design, development, modification and testing of the company's product line. If you have extensive experience in leading the engineering activities and have successful track record in design and development process, then you might be our new Engineering Team Leader within Danfoss Power Solutions business.

You will be leading a team, located in Slovakia, and will wear multiple hats in your role, being the main contributor in the engineering activities.

You will work within international environment with possibility to grow, with opportunity to explore other countries and participate on international events.

You will be responsible for

• Determining the relative status of projects within the team and establishing or revising priorities to meet completion schedules
• Consulting with customers and manufacturing or vendors when establishing and modifying designs
• Reviewing and approving design layouts and determining product capability with marketing and manufacturing personnel
• Coordinating the drafting and testing efforts of the team, supervising the review test and program results
• Reviewing and approving project and technical reports
• Reviewing and analyzing future technical and product trends and keeping up to date with new trends in the product engineering field
• Providing technical support to production, quality control, marketing and manufacturing on a range of product line challenges
• Working within budget and staffing parameters to accomplish objectives for area of responsibility
• Developing knowledge and abilities necessary to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities within the team
• Selecting, hiring and developing team members within Division or Corporate affirmative action policies and goals

Your education and experience

• At least Bachelor's degree from University with Engineering background, preferable from Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant development and test lab experience (preferred from hydrostatic pumps, motors or valves products or applications)
• Fluent in English language, Slovak language is desired as well
• Motivated, eager to learn and people oriented person with global mindset
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good engineering skills with ability to read, analyze and interpret technical and business documents, reports and manuals
• Experience with leading a team or having potential for is desired
