Leading 5 - 10 team members and reporting to the Director of European Shared Services Center, you will be responsible for managing credit risk and collection for Danfoss Group in Europe while there might be an opportunity to expand the scope of the current role in the future. You will leverage your credit management experience and work with customers, sales team and internal stakeholders to minimize risk and enhance cash flow whilst maximizing sales opportunities. You will be part of Danfoss group – that enable the world of tomorrow to do more with less. We meet the growing need for infrastructure, food supply, energy efficiency and climate-friendly solutions. The company’s wide range of products and services are used in areas such as cooling food, air conditioning, heating buildings, controlling electric motors and powering mobile machinery.

You will be responsible for

• Monitor customer overdue and assess customer creditworthiness
• Work on resolution of disputed items related to quality, shipping, pricing
• Support the sales team in payment terms decisions, work on releasing the blocked deliveries and customer accounts
• Maintain accounts receivable and credit management procedures and guidelines
• Act as the super-user for credit rating tool and collection agency service
• Support internal and external audit process
• Coordinate and control the bad debt write-offs, reserve and legal collection cases
• Provide finance training on credit management subjects
• Develop credit management understanding within the organization and develop the credit management team
• Approve SAP roles affecting credit management and accounts receivable

Your education and experience

• Education in field of economics and/or management (or similar) with 3 to 5 years of experience in credit management
• Good commercial knowledge and ability to find the balance between risk and commercial interest
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with some managerial experiences
• Demonstrate fast problem solving skills
• Proactive and foresighted thinking, combined with entrepreneurial spirit
• Fluency in English language
• Knowledge on MS Office
• Knowledge on SAP or other ERP system will be an advantage
