Job description, responsibilities and duties

Under the supervision of Procurement Coordinator your task will be to:
  • Ensure efficient and timely execution of the approved user needs (released Purchase Requisitions) into Purchase Orders for assigned goods and services
  • Timely follow up on deliveries of ordered goods and services and perform all related procurement logistics
  • Comply with the defined sourcing strategies and contracts; perform price benchmarking and negotiations with suppliers for the assigned goods and services without defined sourcing strategies and contracts
  • Continuously improve procurement services rendered to internal customers
  • Perform prequalification & evaluation of supplier performance
  • Negotiate local agreements for determined commodities in accordance to procurement regulations
  • Timely and accurately perform all required records in SAP and ARIBA
