Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Participate in development of North Danube cluster communication strategies and campaigns. Prepare and adopt local communication plans. Ensure cluster campaigns are localized properly.
  • Build, manage and develop internal communication channels and tools (Intranet, Yammer, emails, special projects). Be a contact point across local market for internal organization entities and coordinate internal communication activities across local market, but also strive for cluster synergies.
  • Address employer branding activities across internal and external audience and create communication opportunities to build recognition of CRH as the employer of choice.
  • Proactively seek for communication stories which support business strategy and positive reputation. Maintain and develop media relations. Prepares press releases, leaflets, brochures, elevator speeches. Provides support for issues and crisis communication.
  • Create appealing content, manage traffic and measure results of digital media (Intranet, Yammer, website, Facebook).
  • Organize internal and external events related to corporate communication activities.

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or Slovak - Proficiency (C2) or Hungarian - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

The successful candidate has a proven record in corporate communication. Demonstrates people orientation, customer focus, strong communication ability, and delivers results in complex environment. Thinks strategically, but also proposes solutions demonstrating thinking out-of-box.

Applicants should fulfil the following criteria:

  • University degree, preferably in Human Sciences
  • Communications/PR/HR professional experience from corporate environment, PR agency, industry organization or NGO
  • Active, optimistic and able to build networks, communicates effectively and identify opportunities as well as risks
  • Independently looking for interesting stories, attractive for internal or external audience; using k owledge of local media and employer branding landscape
  • Events management
  • Social Media management & metrics (Facebook, LinkedIn, Intranet), actively using Google tools (i.e. Analytics, Intranet) is advantage
  • Experiences with adopting graphic, i.e. Photoshop, InDesign
  • Active knowledge of English language is must, Hungarian language is beneficial.
