CRH IS OPENING BRAND NEW CREATIVE PLACE FOR TALENTED PEOPLE!

B2R Manager will lead the B2R team in the performing accounting activities, general ledger maintenance and closing, fixed asset maintenance and preparation of statutory and consolidated group reporting. They will also be responsible for managing the accounts payable & staff expenses team.

Main Responsibilities:
Leadership:
  • Translate the SSC vision, values and business goals into team and individual goals.
  • Provide leadership across all components of the General Accounting and Accounts Payable process to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of Service Levels.
  • Prepare annual and long range financial plans for the General Accounting department and manage the annual departmental budget.

People Management:
  • Directly/indirectly supervise all Book-to-Report team leads and staff.
  • Responsible for staff training and education.
  • Responsible for promotion and salary decisions for all Book-to-Report staff.
  • Provide performance feedback, coaching & development to team members.

Performance & Service Management:
  • Management of all Accounting, General Ledger, Period End Closing, Fixed Assets, Statutory and Group Reporting and Accounting Payable processes/services.
  • Provide direction on the management of all financial reporting preparation processes/services
  • Provide timely and meaningful reporting of KPI’s, SLAs and Metrics to appropriate business units and upper management.

Technical Standards / Compliance:
  • Monitor and execute internal control procedures to comply with internal/external audit requirements.
  • Ensure SSC policies, processes and operating procedures are clearly defined, up-to-date and documented.

Personality requirements and skills

  • 10+ years of practical accounting experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the general accounting function
  • Expert level in Slovak or Hungarian language
  • Project management experience
  • Shared service implementation experience
  • Excellent understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes and systems
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and staff expense process and systems
  • Proficient in using SAP general ledger, accounts, fixed assets, reporting, accounts payable modules (or similar)
  • Stress resistant personality
  • Strong team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to plan, assign and direct work
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
