International Accounting manager in Vienna

Responsibilities: 

• Leading the team of accountants with a team leader responsible for CEE countries (CZ, SK, SLO, CRO) 
• Month end and year-end closing bookings/checking’s with full support for the team and local tax advisors 
• Taxes – income, WHT, deferred (accrual calculation + support for tax advisors), VAT (calculation, preparation, booking, providing to the tax authorities, explanations to the tax authorities)
• Act as primary interface to external statutory auditors and provide support to internal and external auditors with respect to site matters
• Contact point for the local authorities and tax advisors 
• Control and authorization of payments and bank collections 
• Responsible for group result 
• Provide analytical support to identify key variances and the causes (ie. Support team leader by regular BS review) 
• Providing local authorities with local statements 
• Ensuring a timely and business oriented reporting towards local management 
• Close collaboration within local internal Team, local office Team in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Poland, Processing centre in Bratislava, generally Finance Team Vienna, Controlling team and management 

Requirements: 

• Advanced English (written and spoken) is a must  
• Slovak or Czech language as mother tongue  
• University degree from Finance/Accounting 
• Proven work experience on similar position  
• At least 6 years of experience (Slovak and Czech statutory accounting experience is a must) 
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Independent working style and goal oriented personality 
• Ability to manage team
