Complex Accountant (Internal department)

Responsibilities: 

• Coordination of tax and accounting processes in Slovakia 
• Processing and preparation of documents for VAT declaration 
• Inspection reports 
• Processing and preparing materials for withholding tax (monetary and non-monetary fulfillment)
• Processing and preparation of documents for internal and external audit 
• Management of long-term tangible and tangible value assets
• Checking the received invoices
• Entering payments
• Coordination of monthly closing
• Coordination of annual year-end closing
• Reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis
• Communication with the Shared Service Centre in the UK, communication with an external Accountant 

Requirements:  

• At least 1-2 years of experience at similar position is a must 
• At least upper intermediate English language (written and spoken) 
• Knowledge of Slovak accounting regulations is necessary 
• Knowledge of VAT  
• Good communication skills 
• Good adaptability to changes 
• MS Office advance level (Excel) 
• Positive attitude and can-do approach
