RTR Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:  

• Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed 
• Support resolution of accounting issues by outlining available options (e.g., technical US GAAP or IFRS questions) 
• Prepare general ledger journal entries, ensuring proper coding, appropriate accruals are in place 
• Provide financial and operational analysis for operations and internal departments 
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure 
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Accounting in a General Ledger - accruals, reversals, error correction, etc.
• Maintaining procedures and transaction processing 
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, reporting and statistics, administrative tasks 
• Assist with internal and external audits, with month-end, quarterly and annual closings, and with special projects  
• Supervises the work of assigned team(determines priorities, schedules, provide trainings) 
• Execute monthly FX revaluation and maintain FX revaluation accounts, understanding of the valuation process and impacts 

Requirements:

• Advanced English (written and spoken) 
• University degree in Economics/Finance or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting  
• Min 3 years in the Accounting department 
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ERP system (SAP is advantage) 
• Experience with transitions or special projects
