IT Senior Business Analyst

Job Description
IT Senior Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis and requirements gathering, delivering technical solution specifications and business system design specific to the Life & Health Business Domain. 

Responsibilities:

• Rationalize and challenge requirements and processes together with the business to drive focus on high value improvements
• Capture complex business requirements and define corresponding solutions working closely with the business community
• Lead and manage business analysis and systems analysis initiatives for complex problems in Life & Health areas
• Ensure transparency and consensus by continuous communication and active expectations management with all stakeholders
• Prepare, support and execute data conversions / migrations of business systems
• Responsible for delivery and project management of initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into system production solution design and patterns, which enables quality, re-usability, scalability availability and maintainability in accordance with the overall Business Strategy and IT standards
• Collaborate with other teams in defining functionality, scope and time lines
• Present and communicate ideas and design to various teams for review and brainstorming
• Act as development consultant to operational team, assisting them in choosing the most appropriate technical solution for their applications and/or production issues
• Support development defect resolution and/or operational/production incident and problem solutions

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis and data / information modeling
• Strong customer orientation and business focus
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL , understanding performance issues and tuning queries
• Experience in working with high volume environment
• Well-experienced in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile SCRUM methodologies
• Experienced in working with a diverse multi-locational team of internal and external professionals
• Innovation with quick work around solutions, while also working on developing optimized permanent solutions
• Diligence in managing documentation requirements.
