Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
- release automation of Java based applications developed
- enhancing and maintaining several backend and web applications.
- setup/manage/maintain and improve Build Management, Release Management, Continuous Integration, Deployment Automation, and Test Orchestration.
- support an agile continuous development and deployment environment.
Requirements :
- Understanding of continuous integration, deployment, and operations concepts
- Understanding of release engineering, system build, and process automation
- Experience with build and release management related tools such as: Jenkins/Hudson, JIRA and GIT
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with system management tool
- Experience with Java based applications including servlet deployment with Jetty, Tomcat, or other servlet containers
- Strong coding and scripting ability. Expertise in programming under Linux and/or UNIX
- Experience with configuration, monitoring, and release management
- Experience in Agile teams is a strong plus
