Finance Manager (Risk management purchasing)

Responsibilities: 

• Continuous monitoring of the existing supplier ecosystem, evaluating new suppliers, and actively managing the distress situations
• Manage financial monitoring of the supply base 
• Interact personally and over phone and email with suppliers and buyers during review process to execute as quickly as possible 
• Analyze situation per commodity and contribute to commodity strategy development with purchasing 
• Assess special subjects relevant to risk management, such as political, geographic, economic boundary conditions  
• Lead or contribute to the development and execution of the strategy relating to distressed suppliers in the region 
• Lead or contribute to negotiations involving distressed suppliers in the region 
• Manage relationships, projects and budgets with third party financial consultants and attorneys 
• Represent company in meetings with customers regarding supplier risk assessments and processes 
• Network with rating agencies, other suppliers, and OEM risk assessment offices for intelligence gathering and to offer guidance on supplier selection where appropriate 
• Develop/mentor the analyst team as well as purchasing team members 

Requirements:

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must 
• Degree from Legal/Business/Accounting/Engineering; MBA or equivalent is desired 
• CPA accreditation desired 
• At least 5 years' experience in general management with proven experience in dealing with various legal issues such as, but not limited to labour law, contract law, ownership disputes, as well as business planning 
• Experience in analyzing, assessing and managing an organization based on financial information (preferable related to the automotive)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven interpersonal skills 
• Working knowledge of relevant IT systems (Excel, SAP, Word, Power Point, etc.)
• Travelling app. 25%
