Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Strategic transport desk for plants in Europe
- Support for logistics managers in optimization, standardization and improvement projects
- Continuous improvement of plant freight structure
- Regular reporting and follow up on improvement measures and improvement status
- Documentation of processes and best practices
- Systems trainings
- Regular travelling to plants in Europe
Requirements:
- Fluent English
- Min. 3-5 years experience in expedition/logistics (material planner, logistics supervisor), from manufacturing environment
- Very good analytical skills
- Willing to travel intensively (50-70%)
