Job description, responsibilities and duties
JOB DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Participate in development of new software which is supposed to be used by the sales force of an insurance company
- Be part of a development team, which has approximately 15 members
- Be responsible for complete SW development lifecycle – design, development and unit testing
- Show initiative to find solutions for technical questions
PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- At least 3 years of working experience in Java development (solid knowledge of Java SE 6.0 and Tomcat 6)
- Knowledge of English – active AND German – at least passive (reading, writing)
- Knowledge of at least some of the following technologies (Java EE, Hibernate, Seam , DB2, MySQL, JSF, EMF, SWT etc.)
- Analytical thinking, structured way of work
- Team player, communicative, and flexible
