Senior Credit Analyst

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are responsible for credit risk assessment and monitoring of our clients as well as risk mitigation activities
• Carrying out detailed balance sheet and cash flow analysis in different languages as well as autonomous credit decision-making within your own authority is also part of your tasks
• You will be the main contact (m/f/d) and advisor (m/f/d) on risk assessment and mitigation for our internal partners, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Order Management, Legal, Accounting and Finance
• You will lead strategic finance discussions with external business partners, e. g. CFO/ CEO/ Head of Finance of the customer, to discuss finance, liquidity and strategy and advise Covestro stakeholders on financial risks in business transactions
• The exchange with the Credit Management contacts in the regions (NAFTA, APAC, LATAM, EEMEA) regarding community management and the reduction of customer and group risks is also part of your tasks
• You will also be responsible for the implementation of projects, including the use of various tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SAP Business Warehouse and SAP/ FSCM

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have a university degree (Master) in economics or business administration with a focus on finance and accounting, controlling or a comparable education with a strong financial background.
• You have already gained several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned functional areas, a strong understanding of credit management processes is an advantage
• Your profile shows sound experience in balance sheet and cash flow analysis
• You have excellent knowledge of business and economic processes
• Your knowledge of SAP (ideally FSCM), SAP Business Warehouse and the entire Microsoft Office package is very good
• You have excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with external customers
• You are also team-oriented and have very good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, complete your profile

Salary

2 230 EUR/monthThe minimum offered salary is 2230 EUR. The salary can be higher depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
