The Senior Accountant for Intercompany ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all Intercompany transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.

• He/she is responsible for the day to day Intercompany operations including issue identification, evaluation as well as resolution for the following process areas:
• Process intercompany invoices until the release of payments
• Process manual intercompany invoices until the release of payments
• Global intercompany account reconciliation
• Support intercompany netting process
• Periodic closing activities
• Ensure the understanding and compliant service delivery across Covestro AG of agreed policies and procedures by team members.
• Supports team members to achieve performance and quality standards

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Economics or Business Administration with major in accounting.
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in the area of Accounting (Ideally in a SSC).
• Proven experience in the area of Intercompany processes in a complex and international business environment.
• IAS/IFRS knowledge desirable
• Work experience with SAP
• Ability/willingness to travel for a longer period
• Very good command of English
