The Junior Accountant for Travel & Expense ensures timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all Master Data activities assigned to his role.
The Junior Accountant reports to the respective Team Lead Travel & Expense.

Major tasks and responsibilities

• Support the day to day Travel & Expense operations for the following process areas:
• Process occurring T&E claims and perform audit checks
• Provide T&E user support
• Account maintenance of T&E vendor accounts
• Concur system admin
• Provide support in regard to local T&E requirement policy
• Assist and support ad-hoc requests
• Ensure the understanding and compliant service delivery across Covestro AG of agreed policies and procedures.
• Understand service level agreements and key performance indicators for Travel & Expense related processes.
• Support team members to achieve performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
• Assist the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the Travel & Expense transaction processing.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• High school or University degree and/or equivalent experience, accounting or business of advantage
• Suitable for fresh graduates
• Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure
• Ability to adapt to new culture and people
• Strong service orientation: strong commitment to customer orientation and understanding of customer needs.
• Good communication skills
• Business proficient English
