The Team Leader General Ledger ensures timely, accurate and compliant processing of all General Ledger transactions for assigned team in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements and as described in the end-to end process documentation.

Major tasks and responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the monitoring and leading of the assigned General Ledger team (clerk & operational robots) including steering, workload allocation, scheduling and review of performed work.
• Contribute to the continuous maintenance and the update of General Ledger end-to-end process activities and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of General Ledger data, general Ledger postings, account clearing and monitoring processed by team members.
• Supports team members to achieve performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
• Responsible HR relevant topics within his/her team.
• Participation in international projects in the area of General Ledger
• Sustainable development of the employee and the individual performance

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Economics or Business Administration with major in Accounting.
• Several years of experience in General Ledger. (Ideally in a SSC).
• Comprehensive SAP FI/CO/BW skills
• Professional certification such as a CPA or a CMA is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and under stress and pressure
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
• Pro-active personality for a good overview and an eye for quality, setting expectations and clear communications
• Very good English skills
