Job description, responsibilities and duties
Duties:
Requirements:
Quality, Safety and Environment management experience in a related industry.
Safety degree and/or related certification
Knowledge and experience with QHSE Management systems and their deployment. Experience in ISO9001 standards is required.
Proficiency in Spanish will be highly valued.
- Lead the development, updating, review and auditing of the QHSE Annual Operating Plans for a factory that employs more than 300 workers.
- Ensure the required standards of ISO 9001.
- Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Quality, Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
- Conducts safety audits.
- Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans to senior management for redress.
- Identify unsafe equipment operation and conditions while demonstrating knowledge of appropriate corrective action for unsafe conditions or equipment use.
- Arrange in-house training programs on safety measures in the workplace. Sessions entail imparting basic skills on first aid and prevention of workplace accidents.
