Job description, responsibilities and duties

> Preparation of FEM models of Continetal Specialty Tires based on production recipe and geometry (2D/3D geometry, FEM mesh)
> Submitting and optimalisation of computer simulations
> Analysis and evaluations of simulation results
> Final report preperation for R&D employees (locally and worldwide)
> Building corporate know-how, development of new products, technologies and simulation methods

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

> University degree in technical, maths or physics area
> English language on communication level
> Advantage is having skills in:
  • FEM (Ansys, Patran, Abaqus, …)
  • CAD (Catia, NX, Solidworks, ProE,…)
  • One of programming language (Matlab, C++, Python...)
  • Linux (basics)
> Personal skills:
  • Initiative
  • Analytical thinking
  • Structured working style
