FCA Generalist (Finance, Controlling and Accounting Manager)

This position has the primary responsibility for managing the Constellium financial accounting system, including all financial reporting and analysis to the SACE Controller and to the Automotive Structures Director of Finance & Controlling, plus the Corporate and BU finance teams in Europe. Accountable for enforcing the control policy and procedures to safeguard the business’ assets, the candidate is also responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of data necessary for effective management of the business. The candidate will also lead the preparation of Constellium’s business plans and various financial reports as necessary.

Typical activities performed in the position:

- Managing, coordinating, motivating, and assessing subordinate employees.
- Ensuring strategic financial planning, analyze financial effects of business plans
and strategies and support the management in decision making process
regarding investments and cost saving opportunities.
- Preparing and processing of financial statements of the company.
- Analysing the financial situation of the company and provide to the
management an understanding view of the financial performance.
- Planning, managing, and monitoring of cash flow - forecasting and enabling
cash optimization actions.
- Communicating with financial institutions and external partners of the plant.
- Implement and/or sustain harmonized controlling & reporting of results within
Constellium´s senior management.
- Conduct and supervise the implementation of Internal or External Audit
requirements or recommendations.
- Support the management in the preparation of yearly budgets, long-term plan
and business reviews.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the delegated department within the company.
- Develop and supervise the costing (both activity and product) in order to give to
the management the best operational view and highlight any potential
improvement.
- Provide strong support to the plant on business decisions, inventory counts,
customer collections, spending requests, process improvements, and spend
versus budget.
- Finding and proposing trainings and courses for subordinate employees.

This position is the most senior on-site financial position for the Constellium Extrusions plant in Levice, the Slovak Republic and, in addition to providing solid financial decision and support, involves maintaining proper financial communications and reporting to the Soft Alloys Europe (SAE) as well as to the Automotive Structures and Industry (ASI) management. This position requires a finance professional able to work in a variety of situations with both production and management teams, often under tight deadlines. The individual must be able to develop and implement the necessary management and control processes to successfully operate the business as it continues growing, while meeting all internal and external financial standards and requirements. Due to the current and expected future size of the organization, the incumbent must be hands-on, comfortable managing the accounting functions, and be adept at working with senior level Plant and Operating Unit management.
