Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- responsible for Group compliance of the units’ reports with the standards as outlined in the CRR/CRD IV and Group Reporting Database
- responsible for identification of any inconsistencies in various data sets and ability to interpret them
- participates on the consolidated regulatory reporting as defined by Austrian National Bank and EBA in cooperation with other department members and other departments/board divisions
- gives professional advice on regulatory issues to other departments within the division
- manages the data quality improvement of group data, develops and performs certain data quality checks between financial data and risk data
- initiates improvement of the financial reporting processes
- provides professional input for the group units regarding reporting issues
- participates on the development, implementation and maintenance of the existing consolidation and reporting systems (Cognos Controller, GARD)

Personality requirements and skills

- fluent English
- at least 2 years of experience in financial reporting in banking field (preferably in international environment)
- general knowledge and experience in IFRS
- proffesional user of MS Excel
- knowledge of banking financial instruments
- knowledge of SQL and VBA is an advantage
- highly analytical and very well organized
- ability to structure complex tasks and projects
- able to communicate complex matters in an understandable manner
- self motivated, initiative, accurate and reliable
- good team player
