Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for five experienced Software Engineers are required to work on very long-term contracts in Aberdeen. Experience working as a Software Engineer on the design phase of Oil and Gas projects is essential.
Responsibilities & Tasks
• Managing the design, development, implementation, test, and maintenance of Control system software for Oil & Gas production systems and associated test equipment.
• Ensure allocated work scopes are produced within budget and timescale.
• Monitor allocated work scopes and report current status, estimate to complete and resource requirements to Manager/Lead Engineer.
• Assist Manager/Lead Engineer with estimates of effort and best technical solution
• Ensure all work activities are in accordance with Aker Solutions procedures.
• In addition to the duties listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by his/her Manager/lead Engineer from time to time
