IT Cybersecurity Architect - EMEA

The IT security architect is a key role within the Security Technologies department that defines a roadmap for optimal security protection plans and roadmaps of security technologies for Clarios.

• This role is a part of the Information Security Technologies team and is responsible for assessing, designing, resolving and integrating information security into information technology solutions.

• responsible for increasing security awareness among project teams and making information technology solutions more robust and secure

• The mission of the Security Architecture team is to assess risks and create designs which secure our global technology footprint. As a security architect, you will develop the patterns which support our business goals and strategies, focusing on infrastructure, collaboration tools, and endpoint security.

• Your scope of influence includes partnering with the infrastructure teams, application teams, PMO and Enterprise Architecture.  You will influence through leading deep technical architecture discussions with Architects, Engineers, and Service Owners.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, research, and develop security architecture for the infrastructure, enterprise applications, collaboration, and endpoint domains

• Define roadmaps to support security goals

• Create conceptual and logical architecture designs

• Work with teams to define requirements, evaluate architecture, analyze trade-offs, and recommend solutions

• Assess risks through penetration testing, threat modeling, and white-boarding exercises with teams

• Evaluate products and tools through PoV exercises

• Advise teams on the security implications of their roadmaps

• Perform security assessments for on-going projects: both Architecture and Implementation/Code Review

• Consult on vulnerability response process, impact assessments and remediation plans

• Communicate with customers and teams, be able to convey the message about importance of security, the ways of establishing it and the wrong ways of enforcing it (e.g. do pen testing before release)

What kind of energy we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

• Strong experience with MS Visio, PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel.

• Minimum 5 years of experience, designing, implementing and supporting large-scale, information security environments.

• Professional certification in relevant disciplines preferred: CISSP, CISA, CEH, Etc.

• Strong people management skills with global experience.

• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain high levels of client trust and confidence.

The starting salary is at min 3 400 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
