Job description, responsibilities and duties
What is it all about:
This is a varied role with tasks ranging from the monthly analyses of PL accounts, BS reconciliations, assets management, accruals, revenue recognition and various accounting tasks. Besides the day-to-day activities, the accurate back-up documentation, financial process revision and description, internal audit activities (SOX testing) needs to be performed to increase the quality of financial control. This role involves extensive daily interaction with our international offices, business managers, functional teams and finance colleagues therefore it is essential that you have strong communication skills in English.
What do we need from you:
• Academic degree in finance/business economics
• 2+years of experience in finance from an international company or SSC, experience with SOX controls
• Ability to have good grasp of the detail whilst understanding the “overall picture”, and to manage multiple tasks/ projects and priorities simultaneously
• Accurate, able to work to strict deadlines, and comfortable working in a quick turnaround environment
• Advanced experience in MS Office, especially in Excel
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English; fluent Czech/Slovak; other foreign language is an advantage
• Traveling will be required from time to time
