Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Lead plant production, maintenance, logistics and quality personnel in day to day activities to ensure on time deliveries with the required quality standards
• Focus on key performance indicators
• Develop strategic plans in line of production , maintenance and quality
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of communication between operation team and support departments (Purchase, HR, IT)
• Implement changed and new products and processes.
• Set up and control the process data in the ERP system
• Ensure the work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under timescales whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Participate on investment projects
• Oversee overall planning, systems and controls.
• Main contact person with the customer / mother company for manufacturing issues.
• Directly reporting to General Manager

Information about the selection process

This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization by day –to –day operations. Be able to get things happen to achieve the goals of production and the business and to coordinate of plant operations including production, quality, logistics maintenance and other production related activities with all labour, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations.
This is a hands-on position that is responsible for maximizing daily production increasing productivity, minimizing residuals, auditing inbound and outbound materials.
The position also contributes to the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies and practices and special projects and operations.

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree
• Experience in engineering and international environment – production company
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a plant management role
• Excellent English speaking – active
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, quality, logistics and equipment maintenance
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain staffing levels at an appropriate level to minimize costs
• Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding and oral and written communication skills , excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Multitasking, innovative, strong logical and analytical skills, results oriented person
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office,, and ERP systems.
• Experience with CNC&PLC programming is an asset.
• Driver’s licence B
• Critical and strategic thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong leader with planning and organizing skills
• Excellent communication skills, Slovak and English
• Wiling to travel abroad
