Job description, responsibilities and duties
Functions
As a Transport and Mobility Coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient running of all individual and collective transportation services.
Duties include:
Run the CERN Mobility Center (bikes, car fleet, car sharing, shuttle, bus) establishing (where needed) and respecting Service Level Agreements, managing the contract with the service providers and monitoring their performance.
Interact with internal stakeholders and external service providers to analyse the different mobility needs and optimize transportation means by identifying inefficiencies, opportunities for synergies, cost-efficient and environmental-friendly solutions.
As member of the CERN Mobility Working Group, contribute towards an integrated mobility plan: data gathering and analysis, assess the current situation, identify key issues and strategy and propose objectives.
Contribute towards coordination and integration of mobility related activities across the Organization such as: site access, mobility applications and software, parking, site and registration, transportation of goods, road infrastructure and road safety.
Coordinate various initiatives proposed by host states (e.g. "Bike to work", "Challenge Mobilité Rhônes-Alpes").

Experience and competencies
The experience required for this post is:
Proven experience in leading projects to improve the mobility in a community or an urban environment.
Experience in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with public/private operational managers.
Experience with drafting and managing Service Level Agreements.
Experience managing staff members and contractors.
The technical competencies required for this post are:
User relationship management: coordination of relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of products and services.
Contract management: technical and commercial contract follow-up for supplies or services.
Service level management: planning, implementation, control, review and audit of service provision, to meet user requirements. This includes negotiation, implementation and monitoring of service level agreements, and the ongoing management of operational facilities to provide the agreed levels of service, seeking continually and proactively to improve service delivery and sustainability targets.
Problem management: resolution of incidents and problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritisation and initiation of action, documentation of root causes and implementation of remedies.
Budgeting, forecasting, statistics.
Project management: change management.
The language competencies required are:
English or French: spoken and written, with the ability to understand and speak in professional contexts, to draft texts for publications and/or official communications and/or to make oral presentations.
The ability to understand and speak the other language in professional contexts would be an advantage.
These functions require :
A valid driving licence is required.
Stand-by duty, when required by the needs of the Organization.
