Software engineer – Vert.x and RxJava

You feel comfortable with chaining Observables, while having a distaste for synchronized blocks. You not only want to work with a state-of-the art web application stacks, but contribute to it and driving if further. Then you came to the right place!
The last 1.5 year, CELUM has created its own full reactive stack, including technologies like Vert.x, RxJava, GraphDB. We have added to this mix our own Service Concept and Graph Data Model abstraction and query API, allowing data to be shown on the front-end while it is still delivered from the database. All that is packaged in Docker containers.

Your tasks:

- Working in an agile and cross-functional team, you work on both, the internals of our platform as well as new features for our products.
- Implementing state of the art user interfaces and discussing those with the UX and UI designers
- Discussing platform improvement ideas with the architects
- Ongoing improvements of development processes and methods together with your team
