Job description, responsibilities and duties

The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting various functions within the Human Resources department.

This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment,  development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management, training and development and compliance with labor laws and company policies.

The HR Generalist acts as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring effective communication and the implementation of HR initiatives to support organizational goals.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Advanced (C1)

Experience in the position/sector

Experience in production environment preferred

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Slovak Labor code
  • Knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management
  • Experience in  implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in NetSuite or similar ERPs that cover multiple business disciplines and other HR software applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
