Job description, responsibilities and duties


Develops manufacturing processes
Understand customer & product requirements. Create reports and present key performance indicators to management regularly.
​Strong collaboration with partner factory in China on knowledge transfer, experience & best practices sharing
​Conduct bench-marking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends
​Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production processes, procedures, and changes. ​
​Support the tender process for equipment to ensure the best quality for best price
​Assist with shop floor layout and cell designs, design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks
​Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
​Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and assembly instructions


Continues improvement

Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities
​Continuously improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
​Implement measures to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
​Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
 

New Projects

Identify manufacturing needs for new products in development
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
Plan projects or sub-tasks so they may be tracked and presented
Plan and supervise the fabrication, assembly, and testing of component or product samples
Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers

Quality assurance

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product defects and implement corrective actions.

Supports equipment maintenance planning

Coordinate with the maintenance team (internal/external) to address equipment breakdowns promptly.

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Advanced (C1)
