QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for developers for a medical software project. The product features include planning, recording and monitoring of diagnostics and interventions, management of tools and equipment logistics, handling and archiving of medical records.

Qualifications and experience

- Bachelor degree in computer science / Software engineering or similar background
- At least 3 years of experience in the software industry as a QA engineer/automation
- Mastering the QA concepts, techniques and best practices
- Excellent understanding and practical exposure to the software development life cycle
- A positive “can do” attitude and able to deal with challenging situations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge in SQUISH will be an added advantage
- Practical exposure to test automation tool(s) with JavaScript is a must
- Database knowledge in MS SQL and Oracle
- Ability to work under pressure
- Testing experience in hospital work flow will be an added advantage

Primary responsibilities

- Organizing and follow up the QA work using QA best practices, techniques and concepts
- Maintaining and using the test data
- Follow up of the test case definitions in relation to the requirements of the product
- Taking decisions about which test cases are handled by unit tests, manually or by automated testing
- Follow up the test case execution both manually and automatically
- Follow up and reporting about the quality of the product and the overall test coverage
- Responsible for the follow up of the quality of the user documentation for both end users and administrators
- Taking decision about the readiness of the product for a release
