Country Manager SR /logistic, transportation/

The Managing Director will provide the management and leadership to support the operations of the business to achieve its business objectives, customer service targets, operational and budget targets and overall business objectives. The Managing Director has P&L responsibility to drive balanced growth of the countries.
Key responsibilities :
* Ensure that company operational activities are effectively and efficiently managed to meet and exceed customers’ and company expectations
* Responsible for leading, managing and coordinating the team to ensure that customer service excellence, efficiency, financial, quality and safety targets are met
*Strategic leadership of overall company performance, oversee and manage the development of the business in both countries, driving sustainable growth
* Maintain close working partnership with both customers and senior management to secure contract developments and renewals
* Monitor performance and compliance, regularly review all key performance indicators to develop and manage corrective or improvement actions
* Ensure that cost/margin objectives are met in a timely manner with pro-active approach to cost-control
*Coach and mentor direct reports to be effective leaders of their function and to support the top level operations and customer satisfaction objectives
* Manage employees in line with company style of management, social, HR and quality policies
* Promotes the development of talent and initiates business specific education
