Design Engineer

• 3D design creation with CATIA V5 considering internal and external development guidelines
• Develop new technical measures including advantage and disadvantage analysis
• Perform technical calculation (e.g. weight, assembling space, stability)
• Define part dimensions and tolerances by calculation of complex tolerance chains including all relevant parameters
• Release technical drawings, BOM’s and development relevant documents
• Ensure cost, quality and process usable design
• Trigger property right check of new designs
• Participation on FEMA meetings (creation and maintenance)
• May starting complex technical analysis in cooperation with specialist and result evaluation
• Support the continuous improvement process (e.g. benchmark, exhibition)
• Ensure global standards and responsibility for global change management to guarantee worldwide aligned designs and quality
