Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Strategic planning of logistics and transportation networks in addition to project management
  • Analyze and evaluate supply chain data, processes and networks
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the transportation operations
  • Develop and implement transportation planning and optimization processes
  • Work closely together with Brose plant to identify and realize transportation cost reduction initiatives
  • Interview, select, coach, train, manage, and appraise the performance of transportation personnel
  • Lead a Brose transport team and guide the team members’ development
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships
  • Maintain open dialogue with other plants and central functions to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
