Job description, responsibilities and duties

Become a Laboratory Technician and unlock the magic of science! Your role is to make sure experiments run smoothly and safely. Here's what you'll do:

  • Set the Stage: Get everything ready for experiments, like mixing solutions and setting up equipment.
  • Keep Count: Make sure we have enough supplies by keeping track of what we have and when they expire.
  • Deliveries on Time: Ensure equipment gets to the right place at the right time, and put it away afterward.
  • Get What's Needed: Help teachers get the materials they need by requesting them.
  • Safety First: Make sure everyone stays safe by advising on the best materials to use.
  • Keep Things Tidy: Check that labs are safe and well-maintained.
  • Team Player: Work closely with colleagues and report to the Head of Science and Senior Laboratory Technician.
