Job description, responsibilities and duties

The British Council is looking to appoint committed, qualified and enthusiastic English teachers to work with our increasing numbers of young learners. We offer competitive rates and excellent training and development opportunities.

Essential: You will have minimum 2 years’ experience teaching English to young learners (7-11 AND 12-16 years old).

You will have a relevant teaching qualification.

You will be available from September 2016 - June 2017 to work week-day afternoons in the British Council, Bratislava (2-7pm)

You will have an IELTS 8 and/or Cambridge Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) and be prepared to commit to 10 contact hours of young learner teaching per week.

Desirable: CELTA qualification (or equivalent)
CELT YL extension/TYLEC (or equivalent)
