Officer Accounting

Responsible for the accounting and tax division, for which you map the processes and actively pursue further optimization. You report to the BU Manager.
Your job responsibilities include detecting opportunities and turn structural problems into chances for improvement and growth. You help to determine and achieve the finance budget and the business goals of the accounting and tax division.
You guarantee a correct and timely monthly and yearly closing (both management and statutory reporting)

Responsibilities and competences
• Obtain and preserve a thorough knowledge of accounting and tax legislation and topicalities.
• Responsible for monthly and yearly closing and compliance with accounting and fiscal legislation (VAT-, tax-, and other declarations)
• Prepare financial statements
• Assure a maximal VAT return (internal and foreign) and other taxes.
• Assure an optimal deductibility of costs
• Supervision over encoding and approval of purchase invoices
• Maintain contact with authorities in order to ensure timely yearly audits
• Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting and for the timely reporting of all monthly financial information (s.a. intercompany reconciliation)
• Accurate and timely processing of all payment transactions
• Support budget follow up and reporting
• Introduce procedures and working instructions on departmental level
• Improve accounting processes, co-ordinate from implementation to closing
• Answer questions from Management concerning financial results and reporting
• Booking cash report
• Various statistics
