Job description, responsibilities and duties

Meet the requirements of businesses/entities in matters relating to external spending, based on the best cost-delivery-quality ratio for the Group, in compliance with the Group rules of conduct concerning relationships with suppliers.

Optimize third parties spend by acting on unit prices and volumes and by defining standards for the products and services purchased, Secure supplier relationships,
Define norms and minimum control levels applicable to Procurement processes,
Provide project ownership for IT projects concerning external spending processes (procurement, purchasing, inventory tools), outside of projects that come under Supplier accounting.


Define and implement the procurement strategies in SK entity
Actively collaborate with the Global Procurement organisation, especially with the Global category managers and Lead Buyers to generate the maximum of savings from global actions locally.
Ensure that the local requirements or local constraints are taken into account in global procurement initiatives
Work closely with the management team and other functions in order to identify savings opportunities.
Define the yearly procurement strategy and action plan supporting the local savings objectives for his / her Entity and have them validated by the appropriate authority in the entity:

• Perform the « as is » analysis (spend mapping, analysis of criticality of each category: strategic nature, market trends, urgency of requirement, etc.),
• Evaluation of the stakes (financial gains, quality improvement, timeframes, etc.),
• Perform the needs analysis and provide a procurement expertise to internal clients (market watch, cost analysis, risk analysis, price trends, technological roadmap, changes in suppliers’ organisation, etc.),
• Perform internal and external benchmarks

• Identify the procurement levers, by going beyond conventional methods such as negotiation and competitive bidding, particularly by including TCO levers, such as the functional analysis of needs, standardization, process optimisation, sustainable development levers, innovation and continuous progress opportunities,
• Ensure the implementation of the global and local procurement strategies and action plans, in compliance with the rules of conduct concerning the relationships with suppliers (suppliers’ negotiation or selection process, contract drafting and implementation).
• Handle reporting to the Procurement Executive Committee

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives impacting the procurement function on:
• Global Procurement organization & strategy,
• Procurement Norms & Standards,
• Sustainable development in Procurement,
• Processes & tools,
• Suppliers Performance management ,
• Participate to the Group Procurement Board commissions work.

Be responsible for the organization and implementation of controls procedure, in compliance with the rules covering the control of operational risks.

Information about the selection process

• University Master degree
• Suppliers market
• Negotiation skills,
• Capacity for defining a procurement strategy (knowledge of the procurement methods and tools),
• Capacity to challenge the internal clients needs, sense of critical analysis,
• Risk analysis,
• Capacity for analysis and synthesis (costs, internal needs, markets),
• Project management skills,
• Professional knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• PC skills (MS Office 2010)
• Highly experienced in area of procurement
• At least 3 years in the similiar position + strong appropriate previous operational experiences
