Job description, responsibilities and duties
Corporate Controller Officer working under the direction of a Global Controller, assists with the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and internal control systems. The Corporate Controller Officer supports the oversight of the general accounting functions and assists with ensuring compliance measures are in place. The position helps to identify and implement solutions to mitigate financial risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the month end closing process, preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statements for the Company; Ensure accurate and timely reporting; familiarity with US GAAP preferred.
- Oversee accounting for corporate activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements; support the annual planning process & accounting practices with foreign and domestic subsidiaries monthly
- Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices across the Company
- Participate in implementation of internal audit functions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and controls
- Provide support during external audit processes
- Assist with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparation of budget reports; Analyze and report cost variances
- Assist with global cash flow forecast and management
- Support the development and utilization of accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
- Assist in ad hoc projects as needed

Experience in the position/sector
5+ years of complex intercompany accounts or audit
Personality requirements and skills
- US GAAP/IFRS knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with consolidation.
- Business English for accounting, economic field.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Big 4 or international advisory/shared service center experience is an advantage.
- Experience with One Stream is an advantage.
- Experience in a results-oriented environment with accountability to quality of work, timeliness and attention to detail a must.
- Experience in a cross functional matrix organization is helpful.
