Job description, responsibilities and duties
Overview
The People Services Organization is responsible for the provision of high quality, timely customer and client support to Managers and Employees for EU+ and Asia-Pacific region.
Primary Responsibilities
• Provide end to end HR query resolution to all defined stakeholders in a high quality, timely and effective manner via case management and/or mail within assigned region
• Escalate more complex issues/cases to next level as appropriate
• Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data
• Maintain personnel files and databases
• Prepare and issue contracts of employment and contract amendments and any HR related documents in connection with the employee life cycle management
• Manage end to end administrative process for New Hires and Leavers including all relevant communication to internal and external stakeholder and collection/dissemination of relevant documents in a timely manner
• Coordinate with all internal stakeholders
• Identify, propose, own and deliver continuous improvements in the area of HR operations.
• Manage cases, research issues and communicate resolutions
• Perform reporting as requested by customer’s policies and procedures
• Maintain a thorough awareness and understanding of the global and local Biogen and HR Operations processes, policies, products and services
• Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data
Qualifications and Skills
• Previous experience in HR operations related role is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with a remote client base and provide accurate, and up to date HR information when requested
• Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and work towards strict deadlines
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and preferably HR Tools
• Fluency in English and one of the following languages: German, Italian and French is a must
