Job description, responsibilities and duties

The position will work closely with and assist the Principal of the C.S. Lewis school in Bratislava to increase and maintain resources from individual and institutional donors, such as companies, foundations, institutions and other organisations, for a variety of school development programs to secure long time income development.

YOUR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
• promote and seek donations for the programs of one of the best billingual schools in Slovakia, located in Bratislava
• research donor trends
• cultivate and coordinate all donor relationships,
• active management of fundraising events and programs
• information management, fundraising communication & reporting

Personality requirements and skills

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE
• appretiated 5+years previous experience with raising funds from variety of sources, preferably in the segment of education
• experience with submitting and managing grant proposals at national level and abroad
• strong organizational and analytical skills
• ability to form trust-based relationships with donors, both in Slovakia and abroad
• mature personality with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity;
• good presentations skills, with ability to “sell”
• fluent English (written and spoken) and Slovak/Czech
• proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet maintainance, and PowerPoint;
• interest in educational development
