Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- responsible for procurement of packaging materials for production in right quantities time and cost
- ensure orders according to forecasted production needs and supplier agreements , contracts and report non-conformances
- track orders and confirm system lead times, delivery dates and costs
- review, update and maintain purchase orders until they are closed
- constant communication with suppliers and supply chain in cooperation with buyer
- maintain good working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure delivery targets are met
- identify opportunities and implements action to achieve efficiencies in supplying process
- coordinate finance and logistic department in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
- work in internal software, regular reporting
All previous responsibilities are linked to main objectives:
- best service level for our customers = to keep production running without ruptures
- keep stock value under control to minimize overstock
Key data specific to the position:
- 17 packaging suppliers
- 900 different components in stock
- 2000 purchase order lines per year
- main supplying commodities: corrugated cardboard/plastic displays & parts, blister foil/blister cards, pouch film
- annual purchase value 4.5M EUR
Key performance indicators:
- service level contribution: number of available packaging components for production
- stock efficiency: purchased vs used components
- value of stock at the end of year

Position is replacement during maternity leave for estimated period 1 - 3 years

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills
- at least 2 years experience in procurement (purchaser, procurement specialist) in manufacturing company
- english is must (written/spoken), daily use
- computer skills – skilled in PC, strong in excel

- good communication and listening skills
- teamwork sense: ability to work within the supply chain team and to be interface with all the departments involved in the procurement process (purchasing, packaging, planning, logistic, finance)
