Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Ensures that IT systems comply with Benteler IT Security policies and standards and Implements operational procedures for local IT services
• Administrates, documents and optimizes local IT infrastructure services and costs
• Monitors local IT infrastructure services to prevent incidents and proactively reporting of possible risks
• Manages local IT assets including the replacement of hardware and software in alignment with purchasing department
• Provides 2nd level support for end users concerning problems with hardware and software
• Monitors performance of local and CIT support and initiates counter actions/provides feedback
• Participate and supports global IT to plan, budget and implement infrastructure projects
• Addresses business requirements concerning IT infrastructure to global IT
• Informs local Management about IT standards, security requirements and other IT related affairs
• Checks local software licenses for users and local IT
• Service Provider Management in particular steering of external providers within Eastern Europe

• Ability to communicate and work closely within a virtually organized IT team
• Fluent in written and spoken English
