JAVA/Apex Developer

Software developer with sound knowledge and experience in Java, JavaScript, SOAP and HTML is required. APEX and CRM knowledge and experience is significant advantage but not requirement.

• Design, develop and document custom business solutions
• Creation of detailed application designs, code and unit testing
• Play a technical role in evaluating new business requirements
• Provide on-going technical support for existing custom CRM code
• Provide operational support in Level 3 Incident and Problem Management process
• Maintain alignment with CRM development best practices
• Leverage any past experience with JAVA, web services, ESB, and/or SQL Server development to build or maintain existing integration points between CRM and custom applications like billing, ERP and network inventory suite
• Maintain the code versioning documentation up to date so it reflects the reality (the code and configuration settings present in given environment match the documentation / SVN records)

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in developing and delivering real solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales or Customer Service operational issues
• 2+ years Java, C# or APEX experience, and 2+ years web application development experience, including solid experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SOAP, XML/WSDL.
• 2+ years experience with development tools and environments: Eclipse, JDK, SVN, Git, Ant
• Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visual Force development is significant advantage. Other CRM experience welcome.
• Operational/admin knowledge of Windows and any GNU/Linux
• 1+ years development experience in any of these: Oracle Database, MS SQL, MySQL, Postgress
• Understands complex ETL and data migration practices, Web services
• Ability to work independently and as part of few teams at the same time
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
