Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

To conceptualize, design and develop power electronic products for applications like AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies, Battery chargers, Inverters, etc, for cost effective and efficient end products. Responsible for redesigning some of the existing products to enhance performance, improve reliability and efficiency, and add functionality.

  • Product design activities including magnetic design, electrical schematic, circuit simulation, mathematical calculation, electromagnetic compliance (EMC) design, component parts selection, design & tolerance margins and analysis of product performance to meet electrical specifications at various environmental conditions.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and root cause analysis of sub-assembly and finish-good level problems down to the component level.
  • Development of design verification test plan, bring-up testing of initial prototypes and responsibility for qualification results being spec compliant.
  • Generating full documentation package for new product introduction (NPI) projects including.
